I buy the 1000 because they say it’s the service with the lowest latency. Marketing material, whatever. It’s the best I can get, it’s not that much more. Yes, we would struggle to use 100 mbps at any moment of actual demand 3. Similarly, just because Xfinity says we get 1000 doesn’t mean we get a 1000. I try to explain we live in a neighborhood, it’s gonna be shitty sometimes because of cable isn’t as good as fiber and because of demand. 4. As far as cost and effort, my thought is if I buy a gaming router from Costco and it helps, $300. Worth it to slow down the complaining (it’s somehow always my fault, because I pay the bill?
