He is 100% positive her life will suck and go nowhere if he breaks up with her. This is why he hasn't because he's carrying the weight of ruining her life, and feels like he has to be the one to take care of her. I've left out. Her dad went to jail for banging a highschool chick. The girlfriend, mom, and siblings live with their grandparents in the grandparents shitty 2 bedroom apartment. That's 2 grandparents housing their daughter and 4 grandchildren in a tiny apartment. Did I mention one is a baby!? This is a family going nowhere with no ambition in life. Mom is a cashier at platos closet or 5 below or whatever, and that's what the GFs life will be too.
