He just has to make it to boot camp. He will not be able to call her, talk to her, etc for something like 6 weeks. He can write letters, she can write him, but that’s it (unless it’s changed, which would be really surprising). If he really wants to dump her, 6 weeks without her is a good start. Also, his tech school is in Connecticut, isn’t it? As long as he doesn’t knock her up, this is a situation that will resolve itself. I’m aware of the extra money he gets, it’s why Sarah and I got married in a courthouse in San Diego. When can his spouse come live with him? It has to be sometime during tech school. It’s not right away, is it?
