Not interesting really, but at least you know I wasn't ignoring the board! -Friday: try to mow 9" grass. Hit bump after 2 passes, mower stops and won't start again. Troubleshoot, order spark plug cable that corroded bad enough it broke in 2. -Saturday: Spend morning setting up wireless HDMI that allows me to feed all the TVs in my house via a single synchronized stream (like a sports bar - anyone know about this?). Not wanting to miss a second, I wanted the game on and synchd everywhere in case I had to leave the room (run to kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, etc.). Spent hours rushing to be ready for kick-off. Got it up and running just in time. The system is sensitive, Aud moves a surge protector a couple of inches causing a glitch. I end up missing our entire first possession as I couldn't get any stream to work period. Not even my phone. Spoiler - we won. After game, rip apart Deere to install new spark plug and cable. It still won't start and the engine seems cooked. Start ripping apart engine. Sun sets so I give up and buy new mower that Lowes lists as in stock and ready for pickup. I reserve a U-haul for next day. - Sunday: Lowes automated phone system says come get mower. Pickup trailer. Talk to someone at Lowes. Turns out guy only comes in on Wednesdays to assemble mowers, can't pick up until Thursday. Grass is pushing 11". Decide to load up a bunch of junk for the dump since I have trailer. Spend all day and following morning loading trash and cleaning garage. -Monday: Head to dump in morning, return trailer. Aud calls while I'm at Uhaul and asks if I turned off the water to the house. I did not. Spend every available minute from Monday around noon until bedtime last night (Wednesday) replacing my well pressure tank, well pump, and components to get my water back on. Alternated between working in the rain, sweating my hiney off, several trips to Menards, without any running water. No toilets, no shower. Water is running at half pressure at the moment, so I have to pull well pump out again to replace the rubber o-ring gasket that apparently broke from pulling the pump in and out so much. Now I have my mower. Houston just called to interview. Your jobs are really boring if you've read this far.
