Colorado trip: Took Breck and Logan. Sarah did not go. Used southwest points for airfare, but had to drive to MDW. Used IHG points for all hotel rooms. Car rental for the week was about $500 1. Travel day. GR to MDW. Drive up the mountain to silverthorne 2. Breckenridge summer activities. Rock climbing, ropes course, alpine slide, that kind of stuff. At at Oggies, the boat restaurant 3. Winter park in the morning. Down hill mountain biking. Only bought half day, which was plenty 4. Winter park downhill mountain biking. Also, found a rodeo about 3 miles from hotel. I love a rodeo 5. Back to silverthorne for hotel. Went to copper mountain. Lunch, golf simulator, kids did the “wrecktangle” which is basically a ninja warrior course. Kids fished at oggi pond in Breck while I had a beer on the deck. 6. Drove down to Denver. Went to something called “Meow Wolf”. Google it. Cool but can’t explain. Only stayed about an hour. Then went to the F1 arcade and did some racing. Finished up with 54 holes of indoor mini golf at a really cool mini course. Hotel near airport 7. Flew home. Back around 7 I believe total cost was about $4000. Biggest ticket item was biking. $500 a day, $1000 total. Rental car second biggest expense. Breck mountain activities was $100 per person.
