Had a situation at the house this am. Gas leak

Sarah had to call the fire department. Turns out one of the burners on the stove was leaking. We smelled it last night but wrote it off as the smell of grilling out. It was very faint. It was still there when Sarah woke up this morning so I told her to go get a leak detector at Lowe’s. It was $35 and I figured it would make her fell better. She bought it and it went off. She called the fire department. Full engine showed up. They figured it was the stove but called DTE. The Dte lady isolated it to one of the burners on our stove. I’ll be spending $1000 on a new stove
