The little monster pulls tail because his aloofness/selfishness makes him seem hard to get.
He will probably never date a girl this ugly or with this bad of a personality ever again. It is entirely 100% because he feels bad for her that he is with her.
He doesn't really connect with or care about people - unless they are a complete social reject/dying person. He invites them in and keeps them close.
Edit since I know you are wondering: flat chested.
